App: X & O (net.gameofphones.xando), version 1.0.0. Developer: Elton Phiri, trading as Game of Phones. Effective date: 25 October 2026. Contact: help@gameofphones.net.
Summary. X & O has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. The developer does not run a server for the game and does not collect, store, sell or share your personal information.
Information kept on your phone. Your player name, settings, chosen tokens and background, scores and any photo you pick as a background are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes them.
Photos. If you choose your own background, the app opens your phone's photo picker and keeps a copy of that one picture on your device. It does not read your other photos.
Online games. Online play connects your phone to public internet relay (MQTT) servers run by third parties: the EMQX public broker (broker.emqx.io), the HiveMQ public broker (broker.hivemq.com) and the Eclipse Mosquitto test broker (test.mosquitto.org). Your player name, moves and chat messages are end-to-end encrypted (AES-256-GCM) with a key made from your 6-letter game code, so the relay operators and the developer cannot read them. The relays see your device's IP address while you are connected. Nothing is stored by the developer.
Advertising and tracking. X & O shows no ads, does not use the advertising ID and contains no analytics or tracking tools.
Children. X & O is not directed at children under 13. Online games include chat with the person who has your game code; only share codes with people you know.
Your choices. Every offline mode works without going online. You can delete all local data by clearing the app's storage. Questions or requests: help@gameofphones.net.
Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
